By downloading, installing, or using Neurobase ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. We may modify these Terms; material changes will be communicated to users.
2. Who May Use the App
You must be of minimum legal age in your jurisdiction to use the App and be able to form a binding contract. If using on behalf of an organization, you warrant you have authority to bind that organization.
3. License & Restrictions
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on compatible Apple devices. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt unauthorized access to the App or its services.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to your Neurons ("User Content"), including documents, files, images, videos, and text. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze it solely for the purpose of providing the Neurobase service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.
5. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the App to upload or process unlawful, abusive, harassing, or infringing content.
- Do not attempt to bypass usage limits or manipulate the service.
- Do not use the App to train competing AI services without explicit consent.
- Do not attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the AI models or embedding systems used by the service.
6. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party AI providers to process content and generate responses:
Your use of AI-generated content is subject to the respective provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party actions or the accuracy of AI-generated output.
7. Payments & Subscriptions
Paid features and subscriptions (if any) are handled through the Apple App Store. Pricing, refunds, and renewal details will be provided at purchase. You agree to Apple's billing terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the App (UI design, code, trademarks) belongs to Neurobase or its licensors. The Neurobase name and logo are trademarks; do not use them without permission.
9. Accuracy Disclaimer
Neurobase provides source-attributed AI responses based on content you upload. While citations indicate the source of information, AI-generated responses may contain inaccuracies. Always verify important information against original sources. Neurobase is a tool to assist with knowledge retrieval, not a replacement for professional advice.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR EVALUATING AND VERIFYING ANY OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON IT.
11. Limitation of Liability
WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $100 OR AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Neurobase and its affiliates from claims arising out of your misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights through content you upload.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Neurobase operates. Disputes will be resolved in the applicable courts, unless local law requires otherwise.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes and post the revised effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
